11/12 Majors has long been considered the pinnacle of Little League Baseball, culminating in the ESPN televised Little League World Series in Mid-August. In 2011, Big Sky Little League became the first, and only, Montana team to participate in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA, losing to the eventual Little League World Series champion from Southern California in the US National final!
11/12 Majors is highly competitive level of baseball, where skilled players compete against each other, and wins and losses matter to the players. At this level, you may see an amount of specialization in players positions and location in the batting order. The 11/12 game moves fast, as players show great abilities, skills, and power.
A city-wide TOC tournament will be held at the conclusion of the regular season, and an All-Star team will be formed to represent Big Sky Little League at the District level, with the opportunity to advance to the State, Regional, and National tournaments.
At this level, there are multiple opportunities to volunteer... from field umpire, to field prep, to score keeping, etc....
